In
this November 1928 scene, the next to last arch on the Perrysburg side of
the 1929 bridge is under construction. The view is looking north towards
Maumee on the downstream side of the bridge. As
can be seen, the concrete arch formwork required a formidable amount of
timber support and a large crew of workers to assemble the same. Photo
