Perrysburg is a small town on the Maumee River in Northwestern Ohio, about 10 miles southwest of Toledo named after Commander Oliver Hazard Perry ("Don't give up the ship") who captured the British fleet at the Battle of Lake Erie at Put-in-Bay in the War of 1812. Perrysburg is the site of Fort Meigs where William Henry Harrison's victory over the British army in the War of 1812 helped secure the Northwest Territories for the United States. The fort has been reconstructed to the original configuration. Visit Historic Perrysburg's website for our history.

We have made our home here for 40+ years, having moved from our apartment in Toledo in 1969. It's a great place to live and the perfect small town in which to raise a family. Stop and visit the local websites......you will enjoy them. If you visit the area, check them out in person!
