Adelaide Dana Bagley, died peacefully on Nov. 21, 2010 at the
age of 94. Adelaide was born in New York City and later lived in CT., MA and FL.
Adelaide, formerly resided on Amelia Island, FL where she was involved in the
Amelia Arts Academy, Chamber Music, Amelia Theater and was a benefactor of
Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Newington Children's Hospital, Parkinson's
Assoc., Diabetes Assoc., Napili Kai Foundation and many other charities too
numerous to mention. Adelaide was known to travel around the world with her
husband and enjoyed sharing her stories with family and friends. Adelaide's love
for Napili Kai, and her family there, was an integral part of her life. She is
survived by her sons Richard D. Montross of Killingworth, CT., David Montross of
Galveston, TX and daughter Jeanne D. Montross of Jacksonville, FL; sister,
Dorothy Stevenson; nieces, Jane Tracy and Dana Stevenson, and nephew Dick Tracy,
grand nephews, Nathan and Ryan Tracy , all of Middletown, RI. She will be
remembered by her special friend Cathy Rybicki and her family. She was
predeceased by her husbands, Robert Montross and Edwin Bagley. In lieu of
flowers donations may be made to the Napili Kai Foundation which she had
supported for many years, Napili Kai Foundation, 5900 Honoapilani Rd. Lahaina,
Maui, HI 96761. Adelaide was truly an inspiration by all who knew her. Her
generosity, friendship and humor was known by all and will be sorely missed. May
she have fair winds and following seas. A celebration of Adelaide's life will be
