Obituary from local newspaper: Sarah J. Frick Huffman was born December 18, 1845 in Westmoreland County, Pa. She moved with her parents to Ohio when ten years of age. On September 15, 1865 she was united in marriage to J. J. Huffman. To the union were born two daughters, Lillian Grace and Ada May. Together they came to Michigan in the year 1877, together they united with the Church of Christ, where they remained faithful and together they shared life's joys and trials until their separation in 1914 when death made claim and removed the husband and father. The wife and mother continued life's journey alone until December 10, 1923 when she, too, received the summons. She had reached the age of 77 years, 11 months and 22 days. The departed one leaves to mourn the two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Johnston and Mrs. Ada Bishop both of Henderson; one sister Mrs. Anna Hayt of Pasadena, Calif.; two brothers, Isaiah Frick of Seattle, and Joseph of Toledo; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 o'clock p.m. at the Henderson Church of Christ.
