Obiturary from the TOledo Blade: Samuel W. Bullock, 82, of Mail Route 5, Bay Shore Rd., retired truck farmer, died yesterday in his home after a week's illness. Prominent in community affairs, Mr. Bullock was a former justice of the peace in Washington Township, a township trustee and member of the Board of Education. He was active in the campaign for centralized schools. A native of Wrockwidine, Shropshire, ENgland, Mr. Bullock came to this country when he was 2 years old, and settled in Cleveland. He later came to Toledo, and operated a truck farm, retiring in 1918. Mr. and Mrs. Bullock celebrated their golden wedding anniversary four years ago. Surviving are his wife, Lydia; daughters, Mrs. Edward Newman and Mrs. R. W. DeWitt; son, William H.; brother, Fred, Dayton, O.; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesady at 2:00 p.m. in the residence with burial in North Oregon Cemetery.

Obituary from the Toledo Blade: Mrs. Lydia S. Bullock, 83, died yesterday at home, 5244 Bay Shore Road, after an illness of eight weeks. Mrs. Bullock, a native of Massillon, O., had lived in the Bay Shore Rd. area for 60 years. Surviving are a son, William; daughters Mrs. Edward Newman and Mrs. Ralph DeWitt; brothers Edward and Winfield Rohr; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the home, with burial in North Oregon Cemetery.
