Obituary from the Bluffton News Banner newspaper: Brother of Ted Rohr of Ossian, Roland "Gene" Rohr, 62, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, at his home in Fort Wayne.Mr. Rohr was manager at Fort Wayne Auto Parts for 21 years and was a member of the Fairview Church of God. He was a native of Fort Wayne. Surviving, in addition to the brother at Ossian, are his wife, Anna G.; two sons, Dan of Minister, Ohio, and Mike of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Larry Lane of Columbia City; a stepdaughter, Donna Custer of Garrett; two other brothers, Jack of Fort Wayne and Bob of Roanoke; two sisters, Linda Hulvey of Yoder and Sandra Voirol of Woodburn; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Entombment will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and for one hour Friday prior to services. Memorials to the family.
