Obituary from the Toledo Blade newspaper: Lois A. Marti, 76, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2002, in the Hospice Center of Northwest Ohio. SHe was born June 28, 1925, and was a lifeling Toledo resident. Lois graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing after WWII. SHe was married to her husband, William A. Marti, in 1948. She dedicated her life to nursing and raising 3 children. Lois spent her entire nursing career at Mercy Hospital, becoming the supervisor of Pediatrics, OB-GYN. She oversaw extensive ronovation of the units, as well as facilitating the transition to update procedures in medical care. She retired in 1984, enjoying her 3 grandchildren, and lunching with former Mercy Hospital colleagues. Lois was always a caregiver to anyone in need. She is survived by her husband, William A. Marti; sons, Douglas J. Marti (Judy), Todd Marti (Jan), and daughter, Sally Marti (Joseph Carron), and her wonderful grandchildren, Clara, Katelyn, and Ben Marti. Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the J. Jeffrey Fretti Funreal Home, 5045 West Sylvania Avenue (at Corey Road), where prayers will be recited at 9:15 a.m. Friday, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrement Catholic Church, Fr. Robert J. Reinhart officiating. RAYMOND C. BRESKE, 49, of 7453 Telegraph Rd., Temperance Michigan died Thursday after an apparent heart attack while visiting in the home of Stephen Glowczewski, 4426 283rd St. He was employed at the former Kaiser Jeep Corp., eight years before working as an iron worker during the last seven years. Surviving are his wife, Delphine; sons, Carl and Rodney and daughter, Mrs. Diana Murphy. Services will be at 9 am Monday in St. Hedwig's Church. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Sunday in the Gasiorowski Memorial, where the body will be after 7 tonight.

She was born on May 28, 1925 in Toledo, OH to Stanley and Antoinette (Kasperczyk) Dobrzykowski. Del worked in the sewing department of the La-Z-Boy Furniture Co. for many years, retiring in 1990. She had a great passion for Polka music and would attend concerts at church festivals and VFW posts to hear her favorite Polka bands. Del was a wonderful cook with one of her specialties being sweet potato casserole. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker, she always looked forward to visits and holiday dinners with her extended family. Del was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Breske; and longtime friend, Ed Long. She is survived by her children, Carl (Marge) Breske, Rodney Breske and Diane Murphy; grandchildren, Tammy Barringer, Michele (Miguel) Gonzales, Jessica Breske, Carla (Brett) Marion, Joseph Murphy, and Ericka and Tara Breske; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Daniel (Pat) Dobrzykowski; and nephew, David (Sarah) Dobrzykowski. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E.
