Obituary from the Findlay Courier newspaper: Robert (Bing) Binger of South Toledo and formerly of Arcadia, OH, age 88, died on the 20th of May, 2010 at Heartland of Perrysburg of Alzheimer's disease. He was born on November 29, 1921 to Parlee and Maude (Crozier) Binger, they were farmers. He graduated from Arcadia High School in 1939 and continued farming with his father until he joined the Army Air Corps. during WWII. He was in the 9th Air Force and loved to reminisce of his experiences in Florida; California; Germany; England and France, after returning home from the war. After he returned home from the war, he married Betty Burwell, formerly of Findlay, on March 9, 1946. He worked at several jobs in Fostoria, Findlay, and Arcadia before moving to Toledo in 1952. He worked for the government at the former Rossford Depot until they closed; he then worked for the next 23 years driving semi-trucks locally. He retired in 1983 from Indianhead Truck Lines. His leisure time was spent boating and camping along the Maumee River in the summers. They also attended many rallies with other members of the Holiday Rambler Travel Trailer Clubs. Many winters were spent in Florida near Wauchula, where he met and made many new friends. He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Keith (Doris) Binger of Monclova, OH; grandson, David (Melba) Binger; step great-grandchildren: Matthew and Lucas Mock; sister-in-law, Marilyn Miller of Findlay; along with many nieces and nephews. To the wonderful caretakers on his last journey home, a big thank you note to all of them. There will be no visitation per request of the family.
