Obituary from the Toledo Blade newspaper: Herbert "Herbie" Lamar Crozier, age 64, of 711 G Street in Findlay, died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2005, at Fox Run Manor in Findlay. He was born on December 6, 1940, to Herbert B. and Dorothy E. (Oman) Crozier. He married Kathie Weidman and they are divorced. He had worked as a certified millwright for RCA, GE, Harris, and had retired from Intersil following 25 years of service collectively. He was a member of the National Street Rod Assoc., Goodguys Goodtimes, I.S.C.A., AMVETS, the Moose, the Elks, Local U.A.W. #12 and the I.B.E.W. Herbie enjoyed designing and building street rods with one of his best buddies, Wayne Dysert. He was especially proud of his latest car, designed in the spring of 2004, which won the "coolest car" award at the GoodGuys-GoodTimes Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. Herbie's immediate family lovingly referred to him as "Larry", they will dearly miss him. He is survived by a son, Shawn Crozier of Findlay; a brother, Bill Crozier of Massachusetts, and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Harestad of Toledo. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Crozier. A familiar face to many in Findlay; he enjoyed socializing with new and old friends at local taverns. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from noon until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, in Findlay, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pastor Bill Shoemaker will officiate. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
