Obutuary from the Fostoria Daily Review: FORMER ARCADIA MAYOR EXPIRES - R. W. Crozier Dies of Pneumonia at 86; Funeral to Be Held Saturday. Reeson W. Crozier, Arcadia carpenter and former mayor of the village, died Wednesday in his home at the age of 86. He had been ill for the past week from pneumonia. A native of Hancock county, Mr. Crozier was born Feb. 23, 1851 on the Crozier homestead in Washington township, the son of John and Susan (Scott) Crozier. He was married Dec. 24, 1872, to Miss Elvira Huffman, who died on Nov. 26, 1934. Seven children were born, six of whom survive. They are Mrs. F. P. Sheller of Findlay; Mrs. J. F. Gangle, of Toledo; A. H. Crozier of Columbus; H. E. Crozier of Arcadia; Mrs. W. H. Stall of Green Bay, Wis.; and Frank L. Crozier of Cincinnati. One son, Earl H., died March 17, 1932. Besides the children there are six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren living. Mr. Crozier had served as mayor, marshal, constable and councilman of Arcadia. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Arcadia M. E. church with Rev. L. R. Kennard officiating. Burial will be in Arcadia Cemetery.

CROZIER IS TAKEN BY DEATH - Aged Arcadia Resident Dies Monday Afternoon; Funeral To Be Thursday - Mrs. Elvira Huffman Crozier, 86, of Arcadia, wife of R. W. Crozier, died at 3:15 o'clock Monday afternoon at her residence followiing an illness of seven weeks from infirmities of age. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Arcadia residence. Rev. L. R. Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcadia Cemetery. Mrs. Crozier was the daughter of William and Margaret (Ruff) Huffman and was born on April 21, 1848 in Washington Township. She was a lifelong resident of the county. Mr. and Mrs. Crozier were married Dec. 24, 1872 and on the day before this coming Christmas would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Besides her husband, Mrs. Crozier is survived by six children, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The children are Mrs. F. P. Sheller, Findlay; Mrs. J. F. Gargle, Toledo; A. H. Crozier and H. E. Crozier, of Findlay; Mrs. W. H. Stall, Eagleville and Frank Crozier of Cincinnatit. One son is dead. Mrs. Mary Wineland, of Mortimer, is a sister and Jerry Huffman, of Cascade Mountain, Mont., a brother. Mrs. Crozier was a member of the home department of the Arcadia M.E. Church. The body was taken to the Coldren Funeral Home and will be removed later to the residence in Arcadia.
