Obituary from the Hutchinson (KS) News: Theron Ellis Cook, 60, died Aug. 2, 2006, at South Wind Hospice Home, Pratt, after a battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 20, 1945, in Spokane, Wash., the son of the Revs. Ellis T. and Ferne Bishop Cook. He served in the Marine Corps from 1966 to 1969. He was a lifetime member of Disabled Veterans Association.On April 8, 2000, he married Sonja Post in Greensburg. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Darin, Independence, Mo., and Aaron, Lynnville, Tenn.; two daughters, Karin Koehn, Greensburg, and Tarin Bell, Roeland Park; a stepson, Aaron Navarette, Denver; a stepdaughter, Amy Navarette, West Plains, Mo.; a brother, Chilson, Newton; three sisters, Ruth Rich, Eaton, Colo., Jean Olson, Seattle, and Judith Carey, Kent, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Faith Tabernacle, Greensburg, with Willard Ollnger presiding. Inurnment will be in Soldier Creek Cemetery, Belvidere.
