Obituary from the Findlay Morning Republican newspaper: ARCADIAN DIES; FUNERAL SUNDAY - Addison Huffman, Carpenter, Succumbs After Three Months' Illness - Following an illness of three months, Addison Huffman, 76, Arcadia carpenter, passed away at his home at 8:30 o'clock last night. Complication of diseases was the cause of death. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Arcadia Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Bowersox in charge, assisted by Rev. Joseph Shepard. Interment will be in the village cemetery. The son of William and Margaret Ruff Huffman, he was born in Washington Township, Hancock County on Oct. 5, 1853. He was married on Dec. 21, 1876 to Sarah Jane Bear, who survives with three children, Mrs. Earl Ebersole, and H. C. Huffman of Arcadia, and Mrs. Carl Wiseley of Findlay. One son died in infancy. Three brothers and two sisters are also living. They are Jefferson Huffman, Elsie, Mich.; Norman, and Mrs. R. W. Crozier of Arcadia; Jerry Huffman, Montana, and Mrs. Mary Wineland, Findlay. Mr. Huffman was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge and the Trinity Lutheran Church for 40 years. He was a carpenter by trade. Cars will leave the Coldren Funeral Home at 1:30 o'clock Synday afternoon for the convenience of those wishing to attend.

HUFFMAN, 59, DIES IN HOSPITAL - Arcadia Carpenter Expires Following Illness Of Three Weeks - Funeral services will be held today for Hurda Claude Huffman, 59-year old Arcaida carpenter who died early Wednesday morning following an illness of three weeks from heart trouble. Rites will be conducted at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Church in Arcadia. The Rev. B. R. Kennard will officiate and interment will be in the Arcadia Cemetery. Mr. Huffman was born Aug. 7, 1880, in Michigan, the son of Addison and Jane (Bare) Huffman. He was married Feb. 28, 1919, to Laura Karn who survives. He is survived also by two daughters and a son, Mrs. Alice M. King of Biglick Township, Dale and Lucille Huffman at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Carl Wiseley of Findlay, and Mrs. Earl Ebersole of Arcadia. The body was taken from the Coldren Funeral Home to the residence Thursday morning.
