Mrs. Franks is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gobel, Bloomdale, O., and Mr. Franks is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Franks, Yosemite Drive. Following a reception in Reeder Hall of the church, Mr. and Mrs. Franks left on a trip to the Pocono Mountains. They will live at 3140 Matson St.

Ephraim Huffman Called By Death - Services Tomorrow For Hancock Native - Ephriam Huffman, 76, 930 Selby Street, died in his home yesterday morning of a cerebral thrombosis. He had been in failing health for 18 months and bedfast 22 weeks. Born Sept. 23, 1874 in Washington Township, he was a son of Norman and Mary Ellen (Anderson) Huffman. He married Lucy Jane Taylor Nov. 28, 1901 and she survivies. There are two children, Lloyd E. Huffman, of Lafayette Routs 1, and Mrs. Wayne R. (Esther) Henry of 302 Hancock Street. One son, Arthur Glenn, is dead. There are two grandchildren. Two sisters also survive: Mrs. Bertha Canfield, of 525 Third Street, and Mrs. E. R. Walters, of Van Buren rural route. His twin, Arthur; a sister, Mrs. Ballard Nelson and brothers Maurice, and William J., all preceded him in death. A farmer most of his life, Mr. Huffman had more recently been employed as a machinist at the Hoppenburg Machine Shop. He was a memebr of St. Paul's EUB Church. Services will be held in the Coldren Funeral Home at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternnon with the Rev. H. L. Zachman officiating. Burial will be in Arcadia Cemetery. The body will remain in the funeral home.

Lucy Jane TAYLOR [Parents] was born on 17 Apr 1880 in Hancock Co, OH. She died on 27 Mar 1971 in Findlay, OH. She was buried in Arcadia, OH / Arcadia Cemetery Sec 1. She married Ephraim HUFFMAN on 28 Nov 1901.

Mrs. Lucy J. Huffman, 90, of 1938 Geffs Ave. died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday in Blanchard Valley Hospital. Born April 17. 1880 in Hancock County, she was a daughter of George and Sarah Swihart) Taylor. She was married to Ephriam Huffman on Nov. 28, 1901 and he died May 1, 1951. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Esther Henry, 1938 Geffs Ave.; a son, Lloyd E., Champaign, Ill.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Merle Davis, Route 2, and Miss Edith Taylor, Findlay. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and the Mary and Martha Class of the church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Coldren Funeral Home, with the Rev. O. E. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Huffman retired after 33 years with Marathon Oil Co. He also retired after 12 years with the Illinois State Natural History Survey. He was a member of Bondville (Ill.) United Methodist Church; Sager Lodge 513 F & AM of Lafayette; Champaign County Farm Bureau; and Senior Citizens of Bondville, Ill. He had attended the Findlay Conservatory of Music. Born in Findlay July 30, 1907, she was a daughter of Earl and Linnie (Love) Davis. She was married to Lloyd E. Huffman May 18, 1931 and he survives. She was a resident of Lima from 1950-1958. Also surviving are a son, Lynn, 701 Clinton Ct.; two grandchildren; a brother, Earl Davis, Concord, Calif.; step-brothers Earl, Raymond and Richard Shuck, Findlay; stepsisters Pearl Shuck, Findlay and Mrs. Ruth Barnes, Dayton. One brother is dead. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Champaign. Services will be held in the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home at 1:20 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Robert Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Arcadia Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after noon on Thursday.

She was born July 23, 1914 to Ephraim and Lucy (Taylor) Huffman. On December 24, 1942 she married Wayne Henry and they divorced. She then married Robert H. Bame December 16, 1989 and he died July 28, 1996. Surviving are one son, Dennis J. Henry of Columbus; two step-sons James A. Bame, Payallup, Wash., William Bame of rural Findlay; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jack (Nancy) Meek of Findlay. Preceding her in death are a son, Darrell W. Henry and a brother, Lloyd E. Huffman. She worked for Marathon Oil Co. for 10 years and retired from Dr. Rhoton's office as a dental assistant after 14 years of service. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a 1931 graduate of Findlay High School, serving as the class Alumni Secretary, and graduated from Findlay College in 1933. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2003 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Rev. Lowell Reeder presiding with interment at Arcadia Cemetery.
