Obituary from the Mansfield News Journal: Word has been received here of the death of F. W. Wachter, former Mansfield resident, at the Shar-Mac Rest Home in Sandusky yesterday. Mr. Wachter was born in Toledo in 1876, but had lived in Mansfield for 38 years. During that time he was a train-master for the Ohio Edison Co. He was a member of the Frank Marquis Masonic Lodge in Mansfield and a past commander of the Charles Dick Camp, Spanish War Veterans. Surviving are a son, Robert Wachter of Sandusky; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Moxley of Mansfield; two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters in Sandusky. Funeral services will take [place] Saturday. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Eggleston Funeral Home of Toledo. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.
