Obituary from the Zanesville Times-Recorder newspaper: Howard C. Eppley, 72, of Roseville Route 1 near Fultonham, died at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda Hospital where he had been a patient for the past 11 days. Mr. Eppley was born April 5, 1888, in Morgan County, the son of William and Phoebe Gobel Eppley and moved to the Fultonham Community in 1918. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Fultonham Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow Flossie; two sons, Robert and Homer Eppley, both of Fultonham; five grandchildren and two half-brothers, Jesse Eppley of near Eagleport, and Arthur Eppley of Roseville. The body was removed to the William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage where friends may call after 2 o'clock this afternoon. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Maynard officiating. Burial will be in the Fultonham Cemetery.

Eppley, 90, of Elm Street, Roseville, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Roseville Chapel of Cannon & Cannon Funeral Home with Rev. Lowell Sharrock officiating. Burial will be in the Crooksville Cemetery. Mr. Eppley, a retired rural mail carrier, died at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday in Bethesda Hospital where he was a patient one day. He was born Dec. 13, 1882 at Dutch Hill in Morgan County, a son of Louis and Elizabeth Gobel Eppley. He was the last of a family of ten children. Mr. Eppley carried mail in the Eagleport and Roseville areas, retiring in 1948. He then served as superintendent of Somerset Cemetery 12 years and was a retired farmer. He was a member of Roseville United Methodist Church and New Reading Grange at Somerset. Surviviing are a son, Leroy Eppley of Roseville; two daughters, Mrs. Tyrus (Evelyn) Kuhn of Roseville and Mrs. Wilfred (Ethel) Gossman of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. His wife, Ida, and two daughters, Mildred Russell and Marjorie are deceased. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.

Stanford Kelly of Adams, N.J. and Richard of Van Wert; two half-sisters, Mrs. Boyd Divers and Mrs. Sidney Garret, both of McConnelsville; a step-sister, Mrs. Ned Claffen of McConnelsville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a neice. Obituary from the Zanesville Signal newspaper: William H. Weaver, a resident of 1004 Bradshaw Avenue in East Liverpool, died Monday morning of a heart ailment. He had been in failing health for several years. He was a native of Zanesville, being the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Weaver of Woodlawn Avenue. He was married to Margaret C. Williams on Sept. 15, 1912. Surviving are his widow of the home; three sons, Robert E., William H., and Charles R. Weaver, all of East Liverpool, and four grandchildren. Ruth Weaver and Margaret Weaver both of Dresden Road, Mrs. James Kelly of Sunset Avenue, and Mrs. Nellie Wietelmann of Milwaukee, Wis., are cousins and Mrs. Amber Williams of South Sixth Street is a sister-in-law. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
